What are you thinking about right now?
For some reason, I feel my incredulity meter tripping. Maybe the police just looked the other way due to your serfs forking over that 320 dollar bribe? Or maybe this is just advertising for the blade shop you work for, or your knife fighting classes?
What are you thinking about right now?
A bird I took custody of four years ago died tonight. I'm not sure how old he was when I got him, something like ten or fifteen, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. For some reason, I had a sense this was coming, because I've been dreading uncovering his cage every morning for the last week or so. Since he was raised with another bird (that I also have now) who happened to be very mean, he learned to bite. As long as I was outside of his cage, he'd come up to the front and whistle back and forth with me, but whenever I tried to get him to stand on my hand, or had to adjust something in his cage, or put in a new toy or treat, he'd try to bite me. It was really kind of heartbreaking that the only time I was able to pick him up and hold him was after he died. It had to have just happened right before I got home, since he was still warm and soft. Not a good note to end my day on.
What are you jamming to?
I was on my way to band practice this afternoon, carpooling with my other guitarist. The radio was on a local college station, and I heard a song start and thought "Wait, where do I know that from?" the progression repeated a couple more times and I thought, "Wait, is that the Mountain Goats?"
Well, as it turned out, it was. I would never have heard of this band if it weren't for Steel posting about them back on GW.

Please tell me RMN likes Heavy Metal!
Great music to drive too (until you get off the interstate and hit traffic, then not so much)-
Slightly NSFW
And some classics proving you can be heavy as hell without needing a blast beat-

"Reimu Max HP V|1075| Down" makes it look like you would subtract the characters current hp from their max hp. If their max hp is set to their current hp the turn before, there's a problem.
Reimu has 100 Mhp when Diseased. V|1075| = 100 V|1103| = 100
Reimu gets hit. Hp is now 80.
80 =/= 100
Reimu's Hp is reduced by V|1075| or 80, since that is the value it would record on the next cycle.
Reimu dies instantly? (I may be reading it wrong, I'm kind of sleep deprived right now.)
You're on the right track, you just need to modify it a little. Find the difference between current hp and old max hp, and subtract that number from max hp.

It wouldn't have to be parallel. You call it from battle, because that should be the only time the character's hp can decrease, outside of terrain based damage. If you have terrain based damage, you could set a parallel call on that map that references the common event.
Auto Revive
I think Hp and Sp would probably be sufficient. You could explain the enemies no longer being under the effect of status effect magic/items easily enough: When the character died, the effect on the enemy was broken. Or, when the character was being revived, the effect of an item wore off.
Auto Revive
Well, I said that is what would probably happen. That is why I brought up the idea of recording the enemy's stats into variables and putting everything back the way it was on returning to the battle. If you play an animation for the revive effect back on the map, it will even look like that is how you MEANT for it to function. You could set it to automatically start the battle again (by using a goto label, or making a redundant call to the encounter from within the first defeat fork).
Fighting - Dies - back on map - Revives - A "What!?" sort of reaction from the monster - Back to Fighting.

Games that nobody remember?
Weaponlord was pretty fun, once you got used to the combo based system and conquered the difficulty curve. The key was to kill EVERYONE the first chance you could, because if you didn't you had to fight them ALL again, and they definitely seemed tougher the second time.
Of course, this was pretty tragic for Korr, but all is fair in the life of a barbarian.

What are you thinking about right now?
I was ready to give up on pursuing (her name here) romantically, and was actually dialing a number I somehow managed to extract from another girl when the phone buzzed in my hand with an incoming text.
Well, about eighteen texts later, I had asked her out again for the first time in three years. I knew it was a mistake as soon as the damn thing was sent. Naturally, this shut down all further conversation. Not only was it incredibly insensitive considering external factors (since it puts other things I have been doing in a light they were not intended, and potentially takes something away that was actually helping her), but it was clearly unwanted.
Maybe this is what it takes for me to finally get the f_cking hint.
